Overcomers Transitional Services Inc.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing stable housing, educational programs and support services to teenage and young adult mothers and their children, at-risk youth, LGBTQ youth, children and adults with developmental disabilities and homeless families of any race, ethnicity, economic status and religion.

Overcomers Transitional Services (OTS), has several programs that address the needs of people with diverse backgrounds yet share similar experiences. The individuals and families we serve face many obstacles, challenges, struggles and setbacks in life. Some have gone through negative experiences that few can imagine. They have faced rejection, shame, embarrassment and stigmas from society. They are often looked down upon, overlooked and forgotten. Sadly, many have been neglected and abused sexually, emotionally and physically. Some are victims of sex trafficking and other forms of human trafficking.

Transitioning Into Greatness

At OTS, we understand the love, sensitivity, compassion, wisdom and knowledge required to help these individuals and families reach their goals and become productive and successful members of society. We are dedicated to seeing peoples’ lives changed and transformed so they can raise healthy children, secure gainful employment, obtain stable housing and use their gifts and talents to become contributing members of society.

We provide them with educational programs, trauma-informed counseling and support services that will enable and empower them to become self-sufficient. Some of the services include parenting skills education, life skills training, financial literacy workshops, job readiness workshops and mental health treatment.
